North Africa: schedule dated July 3 for sea and air transport to Africa of German assault boats and personnel; intensive troop airlift from Maleme to Tobruk to start on July 6; all fuel arriving in Crete to be redirected to Maleme, July 5; commander of German 20th Corps killed by June 27.
Barents Sea: German aircraft attack German U-boats in error, July 5, ban on GAF aircraft attacking submarines.
