BONIFACE reports: North Africa: Fliegerfuehrer Africa reports, Dec 30; British forces pushed back by Africa Corps north east Agedabia, intention to move to Merduna but urgently require Italian air defence battalion Dec 31; Fliegerfuehrer Africa subordinated directly to Kesselring instead of 10th Air Corps with effect from Jan 1.

BONIFACE reports: 5th Italian Air Corps to send fighter aircraft in Libya, Dec 30.

BONIFACE reports: Weather prevented German aircraft based in Greece from providing urgently needed air support for German forces in Bardia, Dec 31.

BONIFACE reports: Russian Front: intentions for Jan 2 in Crimea: 11th Army to continue to clean up Soviet forces landed at Feodosiya with support of 4th Air Fleet; reports of airborne mine-laying attacks on Feodosiya and Sevastopol harbours reinforcements for German Air Force in Kharkov; 4th and 1st Air Fleets and 8th Air Corps to be issued with special Ju88C aircraft for attacking Soviet locomotives, Dec 31; redistribution of air reconnaissance areas for units 20f 4th Air Fleet, Jan 2.

BONIFACE reports: Mediterranean shipping return Jan 1: Achaia arrived Tripoli from Brindisi carrying aviation fuel further supplies arrived by air from Vetrano, and by land from Tunis.
