Italy ambassador, Bangkok: Japanese troops have taken rights of transit and facilities, Dec 8.

Moscow Front: orders for 51st Army Corps Dec 10; German front line to withdraw, Dec 10.

Russian Front: GAF report on heavy Soviet air attacks Dec 9.

North Africa: GAF to attack Tobruk Dec 11; German general dies Dec 10; German general at Italian HQ has no communications with German HQ, Dec 10; GAF orders on air route to Derna, use of Eleusis in connection with night attack and escorts for ships.

North Africa: GAF orders for daylight bombing procedures against troops, Dec 10; GAF request deliveries for two fighter groups with no ammunition, Dec 10; AOC GAF 10th Air Corps demands immediate report of fuel en route to Africa, Dec 10; Kesselring to arrive Derna Dec 11; report to GAF AOC 10 Air Corps on fuel being shipped by air (see above); GAF report that Italian bombers have not operated since Dec 7 and fighters since Dec 10 because of fuel shortage; GAF AOC 10th Air Corps orders delivery of aviation fuel to Derna as stocks for one day's ops remain, Dec 10; GAF AOC informs C-in-C South that aviation fuel for one day remains, Dec 10; Gen Geissler to return from Africa Dec 11.
