Description

Sitrep from 2nd Air Corps to 12nd Army HQ, Sept 15 indicates steady advance south and southeast of Chernigov.

1st Panzer Group made contact with 2nd Panzer Group completing encirclement and 17th Army advancing on Poltava with 4th Air Corps to attack enemy movements in Crimea and Melitopol area and support southeast advance of 11th Army.

Operational report by Flieger Fuehrer Afrika, Sept 14 on raids on Tripoli and Benghazi, GAF aircraft attacked Habata with 'good result'.

Evening report by Flieger Fuehrer Afrika, Sept 15: Hurricane bombers attack on Gambut and Allied encounters.

Convoy arrived Tripoli Sept 13 consisting of Nirvo, Bainsizza and Guilia to complete discharge of cargo.
