Situation reports for Sept 3: ground troops with air support, Ladoga and Neva sectors.
Intentions of 5th Air Corps on Sept 4: Kremenchug bridgehead area.
Intentions 2nd Air Corps on Sept 4: support Panzer Group 2 and 2nd Army to relieve pressure on bridgehead south east of Chernigov and new battle HQ to be set up at Smolensk.
Airfleet 4 informed that operational supplies held up on roads made impassable by mud.
Intentions of 2nd Army to continue attack and cross River Desna.
1st Panzer Group reported repulse of Soviet counter attack against Dniepropetrovsk bridgehead in Zabarozhe area.
255 Division unable to regain ground lost in Kholm area.
Reserve Training Group JG27 had to transfer thirteen aircraft to Krosno Sept 3 and 4.
Problems caused for GAF, Africa by inadequate discharge and turn-round of tankers and shortage of tankers.
