Indenture of bargain and sale between John Provist of Salisbury (Newe Sarum), Wiltshire, innholder, and Henry Whyte of the close of the canons of Salisbury Cathedral, gentleman, on the one part, to John Moggeridg the elder of 'Bounts Courte' near Salisbury, Wiltshire, gentleman, on the other part, for a payment of £40, of three acres of arable land in the common field of Stratford-sub-Castle, Wiltshire, and a garden or orchard called 'Bugmore' in Salisbury. Signed and sealed by John Provist and Henry Whyte. [Endorsed] Witnesses: John Batt, Charles Swernge, Michael Mackrell, R. Mackrell and William Bowles.
