Indenture of bargain and sale by Gabriel Pulteney of Misterton, Leicestershire, esquire, to John Cope of Everdon, Northamptonshire, gentleman, and George Cope of Grey's Inn, Middlesex, gentleman, of his manors of Misterton, Poultney and Coles, Leicestershire, Shenley and Colney, Hertfordshire, and Holt Hall and Freasley, Warwickshire, with all appurtenances. Dorse: witnesses: Edward Lyon, Theophilus Grene, Thomas Gore and Richard Dutton. Attached, summary of the rents of Gabriel Pulteney, esquire, from his lands for a whole year, taken between Gabriel Pulteney and George Cope on 6 June 1597. On dorse, witnesses: Thomas Thornton, Thomas Hanslappe and Richard Dutton. Two seals of George Cope (seal of John Cope missing).
