Arbitration award between Robert Swaffield (Swaffeild), tenant of the mill in Maiden Newton, Dorset, on the one part, and Thomas Cliffe, farmer of the parsonage of Maiden Newton, Dorset, and Joan, his wife, under the right of Thomas Cliffe, clerk parson of the parsonage of Maiden Newton, Dorset, concerning the repair of the bank of the watercourse running by a close of meadow, parcel of the glebe of the parsonage of Maiden Newton, Dorset, to the mill in Maiden Newton, Dorset, and the taking of turf from the close by Robert Swaffield to repair the breaches to the bank. Arbitrator: George Trenchard the elder of Wolverton (Wolveton), Dorset, knight. On dorse, witnesses: John Wynnyff and Thomas Gredyll.
