Letter of attorney by Elizabeth, dowager countess of Rutland, appointing Thomas Fairebarne the elder to take and receive from the hands of John Manners, esquire, Sir Anthony Thorold, knight, Francis Beamond and Thomas Broxolme, esquire, all court rolls and court books of the lordship entailed by Edward [Manners], earl of Rutland to the male heirs of Thomas [Manners], late earl of Rutland, and all deeds and bonds out of the Court of Wards and Liveries, held by the Court before the death of Edward, earl of Rutland [d. 1587].
