Letters patent granting to Sir Christopher Hatton, knight, and Francis Ledham, esquire, and their heirs, a fee farm rent of £105 11s. 7½ d. arising from the monastery of Deulacres, Staffordshire, and elsewhere in the same county and in Bedfordshire, Essex, Kent and Yorkshire in recompense for the manor house, manor and park of Holdenby [Northamptonshire] that James I purchased from them. Granted by warrant of the privy seal. Dated at Westminster. [Confirmed 4 March 1609]
