Description

(i) Indenture of bargain and sale by John Trelawny of Trelawny ('Trelawne')[in Alternon] in Cornwall, esquire, to Charles, prince of Wales, and his heirs and assigns, for £600, of a fourth part of the castles and fees of Plympton and Okehampton with appurtenant knights' fees, etc., and the relevant deeds and evidences. Covenants refer to Elizabeth, John's wife, and to a lease of 21 years made to Alexander Maynard, esquire. John is to have the wardship of the body of Malachi Dudeney brother and heir of Samuel?Dudeney.

Signed by John Trelawny. Seal. (ii) [attached on sealing tongue] Schedule of the deeds etc. mentioned in the preceding grant, referring only to all the deeds given to John by Sir Reynold Mohun, knight, of which copies have already been given to William Hockmore esquire.
