Observations upon that part of the survey of the honour of Berkhamsted [Hertfordshire], which consisteth only of the town, or burrowe ...and of that which beareth the name of the Hallimote', by [John] Norden, presented to Sir James Fullerton, knight, surveyor-general of the lands of prince Charles. 8 folios. Including notes comparing the demesne lands, mills, parks etc as described in earlier documents with those currently in existence; investigating the title of various tenants; on heriots and reliefs. Documents quoted include an inquisition post mortem (perhaps that of Edmund, earl of Cornwall, d. 1300); accounts temp. Henry VII; an extent temp. Henry VII; court rolls of 2, 6, 7, and 20 Henry VIII.
