Indenture of bargain and sale by Owen Whorwoode of Castlett in Guiting Power, Gloucestershire, gentleman, to William Rogers of Dowdeswell, Gloucestershire, and his heirs and assigns, for £150 (£80 paid and £70 to be paid by 1 November next), of the pastures, woods and enclosures called Rossley ('Rosteley') [now in Dowdeswell] in the parish of Withington, former possessions of the monastery of Winchcombe, which Owen has by charter of John [Dudley], earl of Warwick. Estate in fee simple to be conyeyed by 1 November next; Owen to extinguish the dower rights of his wife Isabel; William to deliver to Owen 28 wainloads of timber by 1 November next.
