Articles of agreement between the governors, assistants and society of London for the mineral and battery works, on the first part, Sir William Ryder, knight, citizen and alderman of London, on the second part, Thomas Cesar of the Inner Temple, London, esquire, Arnold Oldisworth of St Martin-in-the-Fields, Middlesex, esquire, keeper of the hanaper in the Chancery, George Thorp of Wanswell, Gloucestershire, esquire, king's ordinary gentleman and pensioner, and Edward Shorland of Grays Inn, Middlesex, esquire, on the third part, and John Morris, citizen and haberdasher of London, on the fourth part, for the making of latten wares. Dorse, witnesses: Richard Collins, notary public, Edward Romeny, Thomas Smithe, servant to Richard Collins. Six seals of the common seal of the society of London for the mineral and battery works, Thomas Cesar, Arnold Oldisworth, Edward Shorland, John Morris and one blank.
