Indenture of bargain and sale by John Glover of Lincolns Inn, Middlesex, esquire, one of the executors of the will of Robert Pemberton, late of St Albans, Hertfordshire, to Roger Marshe of Aldenham, Hertfordshire, gentleman, of a third of a cottage with three parcels of land, occupied by William Carter in Shenley, Hertfordshire, and land called 'Brickfeiles', 'Stonyfeiles' and 'Buttfeiles', occupied by Henry Sharpe, 'Longfeiles', occupied by William Harris in Shenley, Hertfordshire, that is being sold in order to redeem a house in London mortgaged by Robert Pemberton to Roger Glover, his father-in-law. Witnesses: John Androwes and Richard Broughton. Seal of John Glover.
