Grant by Roger Marshe of Aldenham, Hertfordshire, yeoman, of John Marshe of Shenley, Hertfordshire, yeoman, of the chapel and mansion house called Colney Chapel or Broad Colney Chapel in Shenley, Hertfordshire (which had been leased by Sir John Poultney (Poutney), late of Misterton, Leicestershire, to Henry Marshe of Northaw, Hertfordshire, yeoman, for £4 13s 4d annual rent on 17 June, 1606, and then placed in trust with Roger Marshe on 5 July 1612), for £1, 000.
