Copy of an entry in the charter rolls of a royal grant to Adam de Stretton, king's clerk, of a weekly market to be held on Mondays at his manor of Shenley, Hertfordshire, and an annual fair lasting three days around the feast of St Botolph. Dated Westminster, 15 May 1268. Witnesses: Robert Aguylun, Robert Waleran, Walter de Merton, John de Chishille, Christopher Beverlac, Peter de Chawent, Ralph de Bakepus, Peter de Nevyll, Stephen de Edwriche and others.
