Copy of an extract from the exchequer memoranda roll, queen's remembrancer, for Trinity term 8 Elizabeth I, rot [blank], of a recognisance against Christopher Palmer of Shenley, Hertfordshire, gentleman, and William Downer of Shenley, Hertfordshire, yeoman, for entering the queen's possession of a chapel called Colney Chapel or Broad Colney Chapel, Hertfordshire, and the mansion house of the same name, with lands and appurtenances. Palmer and Downer bound to pay £60 to the exchequer.
