Bond in £20 by Thomas Preston, late of West Shalford, Surrey, butcher, to John Gounter, esquire, his heirs or assigns, payable at Christmas next, but void if Preston abides by the arbitration of Thomas Purbiche, Thomas Baker, John Redford and Richard Figge, appointed to determine the dispute between Preston and Gounter over certain lands and tenements in the parish of Shalford, and to give their judgement by the feast of St Hilary next (13 January 1505).
