Indenture by Richard Morgan of Chilworth, esquire, granting to Thomas Saunder, knight of Charlwood, John Byrche, Richard Elyott, gentleman, John Austen, yeoman, the manor of Chilworth with all its members in Surrey. Morgan also makes an enfeoffement to Saunder, Byrche, Ellyott, and Austen of all his manors, lands, mills, arable land, pasture, woods, underwoods, with reversions of service and hereditaments existing in the towns and fields of the parish of St Martha on the Hill, Shere, Abingeworth, Albury, Shalford, Wonersh, Bramley, Dunsfold, Cranleigh, Send, Guildford, Stoke by Guildford, Merrow, West Clandon and East Clandon, Surrey, for use of Richard Morgan during his life, and after his death to the use of William Morgan, his son.
