A true pedigree of the Freres which fled out of the manor of Saunderton without licence of the lord of the said manor, being villains regardant to the said manor of Saunderton, ready to be proved by old ancient records and by witnesses now living ready to be deposed by their oaths to affirm the same at all times'. An attractive pedigree of Frere Family from the reigns of Henry VI to Elizabeth, with notes and commentary on the descent of the Freres and on the lords of the manor of Saunderton (Buckinghamshire) John Breknocke, esquire, John Layngham, knight, John Dun, knight, Edward Dun, knight, and Ralph Lee, esquire. Lee, as the lord when the pedigree was drawn up, claimed the Frere family as his villains, since they had fled to Temple Wycombe without licence in the reign of Henry VI. [Temp Eliz I]
