Indenture between William Morgan [Morgayne] of Chilworth in the parish of St. Martha on the Hill, Surrey, esquire, on one part, and Henry Parkhurst of Guildford, mercer, on the other, recording a bargain and sale by which Morgan granted a meadow and pasture called 'Cottiars' in Send, Surrey, to Parkhurst, for £18 in hand before the sealing of this document, which Morgan acknowledges to have been paid, quitting Parkhurst, his heirs and assigns of any further obligation for ever. Witnesses: William Barlowe, Robert Shorey, Thomas Purvys, and John Derrick, senior. Signature and seal of Henry Parkhurst with image of a skull.
