Indenture by which Walter le Muleward of West Shalford [Surrey] granted to John, son of James atte Crouch (de Cruce) and Juliana, his wife, for the term of their lives the tenement in West Shalford which was formerly of Alice, daughter and heir of Thomas le Morche, in the manor of Bramley [location specified], also land called Shalford 'Yngefeld'[location specified], with remainder to Alice, daughter of John and Juliana. Dated at Shalford. Witnesses: William Fydekyng, John atte Sonde, Gregory Bronyng, Richard Glade, Adam Fydekyng, Henry le Colier, John le Taylour. Seal of Walter le Muleward.
