Indenture made at Burnham between John Gygge, son of Thomas Gygge of Burnham Overy on the one part, and William Grome of Burnham Norton on the other part, whereby Grome has granted and sold to Gygge all his messuages, lands, tenements, rents, services, closes, liberties etc in the towns and fields of Burnham St. Clements, aforesaid, Burnham Sutton and Burnham Thorpe, Norfolk, except a mese in Burnham Overy belonging to the wife of Grome, for which Gygge shall pay 100 marks in portions of ten marks at days specified, which he shall occupy to his own use until Michaelmas next (and a barn until the Annunciation). And Grome and his co-feoffees shall clear all rents against all men during their possession, at the end of which they will make a lawful estate of the premises to Gygge without delay. And Grome will find sureties by Michaelmas next to guarantee the outstanding payments and these covenants.
