Description

Grant of letters of attorney by John Gygges, citizen and mercer of London, son of John Gygges of Burnham St. Clements, Norfolk, gentleman, confirming that he has granted to Simeon Bachecroft of Bexwell, Norfolk, gentleman, and Sir John Salle, rector of the church of Burnham Westgate, Norfolk, all his messuages, lands, tenements, rents, services, closes, liberties etc, in the towns and fields of Burnham St. Clements, aforesaid, Burnham Sutton and Burnham Thorp, Norfolk, to be held of the chief lord of the fee by the service thence due and of right accustomed. And Gygges has appointed Simon Damme of Sustead, Norfolk, gentleman, his attorney to take possession in his name and to deliver the said lands to Bachecroft and Salle. Impression of the signet seal of Gygges appended.
