Certificate by Richard Every, mayor of Totnes, at the request of Ralph Cockisworthy of Dittisham in Devon, of a deposition freely made before Richard by Ralph, aged 80 or thereabouts, as follows: about 66 years ago, Ralph's father John Cockisworthy held, by grant of the priest of the former chantry of Moreleigh [Devon], a tenement (location specified) called 'Higher Storyge' in Moreleigh. John had common pasture for all manner of beasts at 'West Crekedon More' and 'Yeo Hill' (location specified) in Woodleigh [Devon]. Ralph about 60 years ago kept his father's oxen at Yeo Hill, and his father cut and took from there thorns, frith, furze and wood and burnt furze; and took mastage from pigs in 'Storige Wood'.
