Bond of 40 marks by William Hurste, citizen and merchant of Exeter, to Thomas Hyll of Modbury [Devon]. Condition that William is to carry out the arbitration of Philip Champnoun [Champernon] esquire and Baldwin Malet concerning lands and tenements in Great Modbury and concerning other disputes between William and Thomas prior to the present date; the arbitration to be made before 2 February next, with seal attached.
Witnesses: William Legh of Holbeton [Devon] and Henry Scoos of Newton Abbot.
