Indenture of grant and sale by Henry Reynoldes, esquire, and dame Elizabeth his wife, late the wife of Sir Thomas Wingfeild, knight, deceased, to Sir Edmund Withypoll of Ipswich, knight, and his executors and assigns, of (a) an annuity of £15 assigned by Court of Wards from the manors of Letheringham, Hoo 'Goddinges', Hoo 'Kettleburgh', Hoo 'Charsfield', Dallinghoo, 'Bastbrodyshe' [in Dallinghoo] and 'Bovyles' [?in Alderton] in Suffolk and from other lands, etc, in Norfolk and Suffolk, held at his death by Sir Thomas Wingfeild, knight, and in the king's hands by the minority of Thomas's son Anthony; (b) the wardship and marriage of this Anthony Wingfield; (c) a lease of the following lands, etc, late of Sir Thomas Wingfield - the manors of Wickham Market, Gelham [in Wickham Market] and 'Binghall' [in Pettistree], a watermill in Wickham Market [all in Suffolk], the manors of 'Scaleshoe' [in South Lynn, Norfolk] and 'Fitton' [?in Wiggenhall] in Norfolk, and 27 acres of land in Wiggenhall and West Lynn in Norfolk. Referring to the grant of (a) and (b) to Henry and Elizabeth and their executors or assigns during the minority of Anthony Wingfield by letters patent of James I dated 11 February 1611; and the grant of (c) by James I, by indenture under the seal of the Court of Wards dated 25 June 1610, to Elizabeth and her executors and assigns, from 22 January 1610, during the minority of Anthony, she paying yearly therefore £42 4s.
