Description

Indenture of bargain and sale by Edward Leede, Thomas Leede, Laurence Day and Edmund Hopper, executors of the will of John Wayte of Tenterden, Kent, and on the advise of William Bryckynden, overseer of the will, to Sir John Guldeford (Guildford), of four pieces of land with a lodge (specified) on the dene of Maplesden in Benenden, Kent, for the sum of £20. Five signatures and seals of John Guldeford, Edward Leede, Thomas Leede, Laurence Day and Edmund Hopper.

[Endorsed] Witnesses: John Wyllard, Robert Byyg, James Hopper and Vincent Wytherden. Enrolled before the Justices of the Peace in Kent, 35 Henry VIII.
