Acquittance from John Byg (Bygge, Bigge), late of Cranbrook, Kent, clothmaker, son of Richard Byg, to Gervase Gybbon of Benenden, Kent, clothmaker, of £80 for land and tenements sold to him on 25 November 1539, and of £40 owing from a marriage contracted. Seal of John Byg.

Witnesses: Edward Bright, ironmonger, William Watte, William Ramysone of Rolvenden, Kent.
