Indented grant by Gabriel Pulteney of Misterton, Leicestershire, esquire, to John Cope of Everdon, Northamptonshire, gentleman, and George Cope of Gray's Inn, Middlesex, gentleman, of all his manors of Misterton, Poultney and Cotes, Leicestershire Shenley and Colney, Hertfordshire, and Holt Hall and Freasley (Freisley), Warwickshire. They are to hold them for the whole of Gabriel's life, paying £500 each year to Lady Katherine Darcy, widow of Sir Henry Darcy, £30 a year to Gabriel's son, John Pulteney, for his education, £30 each to his daughters, Susan, Dorothy and Mary Pulteney, with reversion of all on their deaths or marriages to Gabriel. The remaining issues of the manors are to be sold to John and George Cope for £153.
