Indented lease by Sir John Pulteney of Hendon, Middlesex, knight, to Robert Wale of Walcote (Wallcott), Leicestershire, husbandman, of a messuage and three virgates of land with all appurtenances and buildings in Walcote, to hold for the lives of Margaret Wale, Robert's wife, and Luke and Thomas Wale, their sons, at an annual rent of 33s 4d. For this, Robert has paid Pulteney £80. Pulteney appoints Richard Steane, yeoman, as his attorney to deliver possession to Robert. Mark and illegible seal of Robert Wale. [on dorse] Sealed and delivered to David Fludde, to the use of Sir John Pulteney, in the presence of David Fludd, Richard Steane, Philip Wale.
