Grant by John de Baredenne to Alice de Columbers (Columbariis), lady of Penshurst (Penecestre), of a yearly rent of 2s, four cocks and eight hens, paid by seven of his tenants from lands [details given] in Penshurst (Peneshurst), [Kent], in exchange for a release of a yearly rent of 4s issuing from 'Mellelandes' and a yearly rent of 12d from lands within the manor of Ensfield (Jenesfeld), which John holds.
Witnessed by Robert de Stanegrave, William de Chelesfeld, Ralph de Hevere, Adam de Chivenyng, knights, John de Iffeld, Henry de Scharndenne, Stephen de Chelesfeld, George Chanu, William de Mordenne and others.
Dated at Penshurst (Penecestre).
