Grant by King Henry III to Stephen de Penecestre, of the right of free warren on all his lands of Penshurst (Penehirst), Leigh (Leye), Tonbridge (Tonebrig), Hever and Chiddingstone (Chidingstan), Kent, provided these lands are not within the boundaries of royal forest. Anybody hunting in these lands without Stephen's permission will be fined £10.
Witnessed by Henry, son of the king of Germany, the king's nephew, Roger le Bigod, earl of Norfolk and marshal of England, John de Warenna, Hugh le Bigod, Philipp Basset, Roger de Leyburn, William de Wilton, Robert Aguilun, Geoffrey de Percy and others.
Dated at Dover manor.
