Description

Quitclaim by Richard de Leycestre, parson of the church of 'Castre', Simon Pakeman, Robert Martel, William de Burgh, John de Gadesby and Thomas Aliene of Ashby (Assheby), confirming that William de Wykam, bishop of Winchester (Wyncestr), Sir John Pekbrugge, John Colpepur and Richard Maufee will not be bound anymore to guarantee the estates and lands depending on the manors of Poultney (Pulteneye) and Misterton (Minsterton), Leicestershire, and the manor Shenley (Shenlee), Hertfordshire, which they granted to Richard de Leycestre, Simon Pakeman, Robert Martel, William de Burgh, John de Gadesby and Thomas Aliene of Ashby.

Dated at Westminster. Three seals.
