Indenture between Sir John de Pulteney and John Hereward, Thomas Torald of the same and Joan his wife, and John Juddun. Whereas Sir John grants all his lands and tenements in Napton on the Hill (Napton), [Warwickshire], to John Hereward, Thomas Torald and Joan his wife and John Juddun, the other parties guarantee that, if Thomas Torald fails to pay £5 10s to Sir John at Misterton, Leicestershire, at Easter and the same amount on 24 Jun next, Sir John might take all the lands back.
