Counterpart of indentures of sale by Edward Weldon of Shenley, Hertfordshire, esq, to Humphrey Hawfelde, of London, esq, for £400, of parcels of land called Sarishill, Someridge and Ten Acres in Shenley, Hertfordshire, and a tenement next to Colney Chapel in Shenley. The said land was granted to him by Gabriel Poultney, esq, brother and heir of Michael Poultney, son and heir of Francis Poultney late of Misterton, Leicestershire, by indentures dated 17 October 1567. Witness: Richard Thomson.
