Description

Counterpart of indented covenants by Humphrey Hawfeld, of London, esq, to Edward Weldon, of Shenley, concerning indentures dated 16 December 1573. A grant of a tenement next to Colney Chapel and parcels of land called Sarishill, Someridge and Ten Acres in Shenley, Hertfordshire, alongside an assignment of a lease of the parsonage and rectory of Shenley, to be void in case of payment by Edward Weldon of £134 13s 8p. Witness: Thomas Briggs apprentice to William Dawtrey, public notary.
