Description

Quitclaim of John Russel, son of William Russel, to Hugh Tursteyn, clerk, and Matilda, his mother, of all rights in all burgage-rents and appurtenances in the vill of Lacock, in return for two marks in gersum.

Witnesses: Adam de Kersie, then steward of Lacock; Richard de Wike [Wick]; Jordan of Lacock; Richard Roland; Gilbert the clerk; Roger of Heddington; Robert of Lackham; Gervase de Kockelbwe; Robert Russel; Richard Chochyn; Richard Spede; William de Aula; and others. Non-armorial seal attached on parchment tag.
