Indented letters patent of Sibyl [de Sainte Croix], abbess of Lacock and the convent there, by which they grant to John, son of Edmund the smith (le Fevre) of Lacock that all the lands and tenements which Edmund and Isabella, his wife, hold for life from the abbess and convent in Lacock, which should revert to them in the event of Edmund and Isabella's deaths, shall remain to him for life.
Witnesses: John of Chippenham (Chippeham); William Percehay; Reginald Crok; John de Bourleghe; Thomas White (le Whyte); Peter Salip; Roger Draper; and others.
Dated at Lacock. Non-armorial seal in white wax attached by parchment tag.
