Letters patent of Alice de la More, daughter of John de la More junior, by which she quitclaims to the abbot and convent of Stanley (Stanleya), Wiltshire, the lands and tenements near Faringdon (Farendun), Berkshire, formerly held of the abbey by Orlewin de la Merse, and the lands and tenements in Littleworth (Luttlewrthe), Berkshire, formerly held of them by William, son of Adam the smith (Fabri), which lands she claimed in the abbot's court of Wadley (Wadele), Berkshire, in hereditary right, in return for 40s. cash down.
Witnesses: Richard Abel; Roger Gymel; John de Harnhill; John de la Sale; Richard of Newbury (Niweburi); Adam de la Threph; John Sewale; and others. Non-armorial seal with a device of multiple stars in brown wax attached by parchment tag.
