Letters patent of Richard White (Albus) of Notton, son of Richard, by which, with the assent of Agnes, his wife, he granted in fee to Richard of Heddington, son of Swain, an acre of his land in the vill of Lacock (details given), for an annual rent of half a pound of cumin at Michaelmas. Richard of Heddington paid two marks cash down for this grant.
Witnesses: Richard de Wike [Wick], son of Ralph; Robert de Holta [Holt], clerk; Walter de Sterkele; Walter de Salice; Alfred the smith; Robert Spede; Simon Wrmeston; Robert Carpu'; and others. Non-armorial seal of Richard in green wax bearing a fleur-de-lys device is appended.
