Indented agreement between Joan [de Montfort], abbess of Lacock, and the convent there and Richard Rolond of Lacock, by which the nuns granted to Richard and Isabella, his wife, and Richard, their son, a certain vacant plot in the town of Lacock (details given) upon which Richard will build a house roofed with stone at his own costs, to be maintained throughout their lives at their own costs for an annual rent of penny at Easter during Richard senior's life and three shillings thereafter.

Dated at Lacock. Non-armorial seal in green wax appended.
