Inspeximus and confirmation by Richard de Bello, canon of Salisbury (Saresbir'), official of the bishopric of Salisbury, vacant by the death of Simon [of Ghent], of his letters of appropriation (dated at Ramsbury, 3 March 1312) for the church of Lacock by the abbess and convent there, which the abbess and convent shared, in alternate turns, with Sir John Bluet, with the knowledge and assent of Robert de Dorynton', present rector of Lacock.
Witnesses: Master Walter Hervy, archdeacon of Salisbury; Master Robert de Worth, sub-dean; Master John de Hakeneye, canon of Salisbury; Master Robert Fromond, rector of St Thomas, Salisbury, professor of Canon Law; Master Hubert called Constable; Master John de Harewell; Stephen Duraunt, rector of Berwick St Leonard (Berewyk sancti Leonardi) [Wiltshire]; William de Berewyk [Berwick], citizen of Salisbury; William de Remmesbur' [Ramsbury]; Walter de Goshamwyk, clerk, and Ivo de Marchia, clerk, public notaries; and others.
