Letters patent of Robert of Bardney, by which he grants in free alms to the abbey church of SS Mary and Bernard of Lacock, the abbess and nuns there, two messuages, two and a half virgates of land in Notton and Lacock formerly of Master Thomas of Bardney, marshal, his kinsman. Witnesses: Sir Walter de Pavely and Sir John de Holte [Holt]; Peter de la Heose; Adam Hardyng; Richard Crok; Roger Bubbe; Walter Willame of Biddestone (Budeston'); Robert White (le Wyte) of Notton; Alan Bruton; and others. Circular seal in natural wax appended on tag.
