Letters patent of Matthew, son of John Carpenter, by which he grants to Beatrice [of Kent], abbess of Lacock, and the convent a messuage in the vill of Lacock (details given) and half an acre of arable land in Benlonde, in return for one mark paid cash down in gersum.
Witnesses: William Deuelisse; Richard de Wike [Wick]; Robert White (le Blount); Hugh French (le Frances); William de Pitdestone; John de Salice; and many others. Vesical seal bearing a device of a bust appended.
