Letters patent of Walter de Sterkele by which he grants to Jordan, son of Gregory de Wike [Wick] two acres of his arable land (details given) for an annual rent of 1lb of cumin at Michaelmas, in return for a payment by Jordan of 30s. 1d. in gersum cash down. Witnesses: Robert de Holta [Holt], son of Walter; Richard de Wik [Wick], son of Ralph; Robert de Holta [Holt], son of Richard; Richard White (Albus); Hugh French (le Franceis); Walter de Salice; Robert Spede; Simon Wrmeston'; and others. Non-armorial seal in natural wax appended, bearing a lily device.
