Description

Indented letters patent of Agnes [de Wyke], abbess of Lacock and the convent, by which they grant to Thomas atte Mulle and Joan, his wife, their reversion of all lands and tenements with appurtenances which Juliana, relict of John Pointer (Poynter) held from them for life, with a croft at Wick (Wyke), which lands Edmund Smith (le Smyth) formerly held from them, to have and hold for their lives after the death of Juliana, for an annual rent of 6s. 2d. and suit of court at Lacock twice a year. After the death of Thomas and Joan the lands will revert to Robert, their son, for life.

Witnesses: Nicholas Crok; Thomas Draper; William Bartlot; and others.

Dated at Lacock. Fragments of the seals of Thomas and Joan appended.
