Letters patent of William de Bradeford [Bradford], tapestry-maker, and Lucy of Trowbridge (Troubrigge), his wife, by which they grant in fee to Roger of Heddington (Hedingtone) all of their burgage in the town of Lacock (details given), to have with all rents and escheats issuing therefrom, for an annual render of a rose at the Nativity of St John the Baptist [24 June] but performing, nevertheless, the services due, namely 12d. in total, 6d. at Michaelmas and 6d. at the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. For this grant Roger gave to them 20s. cash down.
