Indented agreement made between Lady Joan de Montfort, abbess of Lacock, and the convent there and Sir John Bluet, lord of Lackham (Lacham), whereby John grants for himself and his heirs that the debt of £88 16s. owed to him by bond by the abbess and convent shall be held for null and void, on condition that two parts of the chapel of Our Lady adjacent to the abbey church are completed in all works, as per a written agreement between him and the abbess and convent. If they are not completed, the abbess and convent grant to Sir John that he shall have an action to recover the debt from them or their successors.
